Beckett Rankine’s graduate training scheme has gained RINA accreditation, marking a significant step for the maritime engineering consultancy and for its upcoming naval architects.
The company, which has offices in London, Bristol and Glasgow, has run a structured graduate training scheme since 2007, first accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2014.
Beckett Rankine’s new RINA scheme, the Graduate Naval Architect programme, builds on this foundation. Launched in 2019 under the leadership of associate director and head of naval architecture John Monasta, it now sits alongside the existing Graduate Maritime Civil Engineer pathway, giving all graduates a shared structure embedded across the company. Beckett Rankine currently has 13 people on its training schemes.
