Who is associate membership for?

 

RINA membership is not just for Naval Architects and Maritime Engineers. Associate membership is open to anyone with an interest in the maritime industry.

Do you work in naval architecture or maritime engineering in a non-technical capacity? Do you work in a related industry? Do you want the opportunity to collaborate and innovate with Naval Architects and Maritime Engineers?

Associate membership is for those who are involved or interested in the design, construction and maintenance of marine vessels and structures in a non-technical capacity. Individuals with a passion for maritime design or engineering who are working in a non-technical role are also invited to apply.

FaMRINA

Fellow Associate

Professionals with significant senior experience that have achieved the highest standards in their field.

Eligibility: Sector leaders, those with senior responsibility.

Associate Member

Open to anyone with an interest in maritime. Great if you're at the beginning of your career.

Professional registration

 

You can apply for your Professional Registration with the Engineering Council while applying for RINA Membership. RINA is a Nominated and Licensed Body of the Engineering Council.

Eligibility: MRINA, FRINA, HONFRINA - dependent on your academic & professional development, you can apply for CEng, IEng, EngTech.

Price: From £37.50 - £63.50 depending on grade.

Benefits: Give employers confidence & trust in your skills with professional registration titles CEng, IEng, EngTech.

Submitting your application after a committee deadline means it will be reviewed at the next scheduled Membership Committee meeting.
