Nominations are welcomed from across the global maritime community and are assessed by a panel of representatives from RINA and Lloyd’s Register.

The Award was presented to the University College London Marine Research Group, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, the University of Pattimura, and Orela Shipyard in recognition of their improvement in maritime safety through the development of the KORA KORA mobile phone application, which enables fishers to assess their vessel’s stability both in port and while underway.
