Magazines

The Naval Architect, Ship & Boat International, ShipRepair & Conversion Technology, Warship Technology, Offshore Marine Technology and and the two annual series, Significant Ships and Significant Small Ships, provide regular, comprehensive and independent coverage of major developments in naval architecture and the maritime industry world-wide.

Transactions

Since 1860 the Institution has published a wide range of technical papers, contributed by leading authorities in the fields of naval architecture and maritime technology. These papers and subsequent discussion, together with authors' replies, are published as the Transactions (bound volumes of reviewed papers and discussion). From 2003 onwards, the Transactions are published as (Part A) - International Journal of Maritime Engineering and Transactions (Part B) - International Journal of Small Craft Technology.  Transactions are published in printed format, CDROM and online.

Copies of the current Transactions papers available for written discussion can be downloaded and online written comment submitted to the Institution for publication. 

Conference Proceedings

The technical papers presented at conferences are published as Conference Proceedings. These give access to a broad range of experience and opinion on research, development and operation in fields ranging from small craft to larger sea-going vessels and offshore structures. Conference proceedings are published in printed format, and also on CDROM containing papers and MSPowerpoint presentations.
