Becoming a RINA Student Ambassador is a great way to make your mark within your university and the wider maritime community. You’ll act as a bridge between students, academics, and the Institution, inspiring others to join RINA and explore careers across naval architecture and marine engineering.
Why volunteer as a Student Ambassador?
As a Student Ambassador, you’ll represent both your university and RINA by:
RINA will support you every step of the way — from monthly check-ins and an induction pack to a dedicated contact for guidance and collaboration.
Anyone currently studying a degree related to ship design, construction, or maintenance of marine vessels and structures. You must also be (or be eligible to become) a RINA student member.
You’ll receive a welcome letter, induction, and access to regular catch-ups with the RINA team. You’ll also have a RINA email address and a clear point of contact for advice and resources.
Yes! Ambassadors enjoy priority consideration for RINA events, complimentary publications, a volunteer recognition certificate, and access to exclusive networking opportunities — including a priority ballot for the RINA Annual Dinner.
