Since 1860 the Institution has published over 5000 peer reviewed technical papers covering research and development in all sectors of the maritime industry. The papers and subsequent discussions published in the Transactions as Part A - International Journal of Maritime Engineering (IJME) and Part B - International Journal of Small Craft Technology (IJSCT)
The Transactions are published in printed and digital format, and on CDROM.
Joint Industry Guidance on the supply and use of 0.50% - sulphur marine fuel
The Royal Institution of Naval Architects together with a number of shipping, refining, fuel supply and standards organisations have worked together to produce Joint Industry Guidance on the supply and use of 0.50% - sulphur marine fuel released on 20 August 2019. The publication has been developed by experts from across shipping, refining, supply and testing of marine fuels.
The reviewed technical papers presented at conferences are published as Conference Proceedings.
These give access to a broad range of experience and opinion on research, development and operation in fields ranging from small craft to larger sea-going vessels and offshore structures.
Conference proceedings are published in printed format, and also on CDROM containing papers and MSPowerPoint presentations.
