Over 500 papers have been presented and published in both Chinese and English at the
annual China International Conference on High Performance Marine Vessels, which is now
in its 20th year and which has become an important forum for the discussion of technical
and scientific matters relating to high performance marine vessels both in China and

High performance marine vessels for both commercial and recreational use continue to be
developed to meet a wider range of roles and more demanding operating conditions. The
high speed maritime industry is seeking to extend its operating envelopes, reduce
downtime and increase reliability, safety and comfort. The use of new materials and more
efficient production methods are being explored to reduce costs.

HPMV China 2015 will again bring together representatives of international maritime
industry and academia to present and discuss developments relating to a wide range of
high performance marine vessels, including small planning craft, paramilitary vessels,
passenger ferries, freight carriers and recreational craft. Monohull, multihull,
ACV/SES/WIG/HYF, and novel hull designs will all be covered.

The Conference will be co-located with the China International Boat Show.
This very successful Show, now in its 20th year, will provide speakers and delegates with
the opportunity to meet representatives of the Chinese and International boat industry, and
discuss new developments in boat and equipment manufacture.

Green or Energy Saving Marine vessels will become a hot topic for 2015 version of HPMV
Conference. The Conference welcomes any subjects of the following aspects:
 Hydrodynamics
 Structures
 Propulsion
 Design and production technologies
 Materials
 Safety, Regulation and Classification
 Motion control
 Shore facilities
 Operations
 Maritime Environment
The language of the Conference is English.

The Conference will be held at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre,
which is also the venue of the 20th China (Shanghai) International Boat Show during 9-12
April, 2015.

A programme of technical and social events and field trip to some famous special
companies or factories in the ship industry will be arranged during and after the
Conference. There are also many attractive activities hold on this Boat Show.
