This module provides an overview of the history, framework and strategies of both naval and IT architecture, and how they both must be underpinned by a common foundation... a robust cyber security architecture.
Learning Outcomes:

Develop an appreciation of the necessity and importance of cyber security architecture within the Maritime sector.

Using the SPOLDATGOS model, take a detailed look at the main business and technical architecture areas that must be considered when designing and developing cyber security systems for maritime environments

Understand how getting the basics right is fundamental to a strong cyber security posture.
