In recent years, the large yacht industry has been one of the fastest growing sectors of the global maritime industry.  During this time, the large yacht industry has also experienced major changes in technology, rules and regulations, design style and vessel size.  Vessels such as the Maltese Falcon, built by Perini Navi and now the world's largest sailing yacht, reflect the technological innovation and development which are a feature of the industry today.

In his 2007 President Invitation Lecture, Franco Torre, Chief Designer of Perini Navi, will show how the industry has progressed over the past 20 years, and give his views on where it will go in the future.

The President will welcome guests at a reception from 6:30 to 7:00pm, and the Lecture will be followed by dinner for all those attending.  Tickets cost £50+VAT (£58.75 inc VAT) per head, which includes dinner and wine.  Corporate tables can be reserved.
