MMHE Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE), formerly known as Malaysia Shipyard & Engineering, is a unique ONE-STOP CENTRE and leader in FPSO/FSO conversion, turret fabrication, oil & gas construction and LNG carrier & petroleum tanker repair. MMHE is also moving aggressively to become the regional centre of excellence for deepwater development, having recently completed the first SPAR structure to be installed outside Gulf of Mexico.

MMHE has the largest drydock and shiplift in the region, on top of its comprehensive facilities spread out on 123 hectares of land with 1.5 km sea frontage. MMHE is a subsidiary of MISC Berhad.

Engineering & Construction

MMHE has achieved commendable track record in the construction of various facilities for the offshore oil and gas industry. Our new focus is on the fabrication, building and upgrading of deepwater vessels, drilling platforms and other oil and gas facilities. We will continue to develop our capabilities to undertake EPCIC projects.

Marine Repair

Leveraging on our strength in the repair, refitting and refurbishment of ULCCs, VLCCs, petroleum tankers, chemical tankers, oil rigs, gas carriers, and other offshore support vessels, MMHE will enhance its marine repair expertise. MMHE now joins the elite group of shipyards servicing the LNG sector and aims to be a centre for LNG tanker repair.

Marine Conversion

MMHE is a one-stop centre for FPSO and FSO conversions, providing a comprehensive range of services from initial design to fabrication, installation and commissioning. We also specialise in jumboisation works, such as length and breadth extension.
