Members of the Institution have, through their membership, demonstrated their achievement of internationally recognised standards of professional competence and integrity. Their membership is therefore an advertisement for the quality of the service or product which they offer.

Companies which employ or are owned by members of the Institution and which offer services under contract are listed in the Maritime Services Directory by services offered, showing company name, contact details, a brief description of the company, and a link to the company's website. The Directory may be searched by service and country.

The Institution accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the information contained in the Maritime Services Directory, or of the quality of service offered by companies or members listed in the Directory.
