Current Article EU-directive fails in practice
hi,

I have some own findings, there have been article describing,....that boat's built under Small Boat category have problem's.

Problem's are at boats under 5m,...

Fitting's inproper, for example not possible to do towing of boat without structure or parts will fail.

Anchor's will damage hull at normal seagoing use. (storage not desinged)

Lack of stifness of small sail dignhy. ( belive this was Walker Bay, http://kurrola.no-ip.info/hippo/kotka/KOTKA103.jpg one picture 1000 words,... )

All these goes category desiged under under code, and it's practice.

I understand only those cases where there is failure at CE-certification stage, seen some quite many boat's not so well CE-sertified, but I'am speaking about problem where standard allows to produce boat's which should never should be done.

These are not at first place saftey issues due normaly Buoncy Aid weared when "seafairing" but show's that EU-direktiv gives perhaps too much room for lucrative industrial activity and same time ruin's EU-code's trustworthiness.

I think it could be now correct time find out how Small Boat direktiv have worked out, it's easy discuss and build feedback for next desing circle of Small Boat code.

I do not know is this correct forum, have not find better!
