Dear Members and Friends of the Southern Joint Branch
The Technical Committee of the Southern Joint Branch have arranged a special technical visit to join the SS Shieldhall under steam on Saturday 26th July 2008 departing 1400 from Dock Gate 4, Southampton, along Southampton Water and the Solent, returning at approximately 1900. A full tour of the Shieldhall, including all machinery spaces and wheelhouse, will be available while under way.
Places onboard are at no cost to SJB members and guests (one guest maximum to each member) but we are restricted to a maximum of 40 attendees on a first come - first served arrangement and names of attendees must be provided to me by midday on Friday 13th June 2008.
Refreshments will be available onboard.
